The Government’s admission in Question Time today that the funding supplement for homelessness services under the Equal Renumeration Order deal will cease in the middle of the year is deeply disappointing.
The loss of this funding will have a devastating impact on Australia’s frontline workers and our most vulnerable, particularly women and children, who need to access homelessness services. This will be especially problematic for Tasmania given our housing and homelessness crisis.
